Museum Art

Museum art is a phrase which can have many different meanings. However, all of these meanings will generally be tied into art museums or art galleries within museums. Such spaces are dedicated to the exhibition and encouragement of the arts.

For that reason, the phrase museum art may refer to the original pieces found within such locations. These may include world famous pieces found within world famous locations. The Mona Lisa within the Louvre is an excellent example of such a well-known work. At the same time, many relatively unknown works within small town galleries may easily be considered under such terms as well.

Museum art may also refer to the various reproductions of famous pieces. These can be purchased as prints as well as posters. They also may be viewed within books or other catalogues focused on a specific museum or show.
